At a glance: Twig templating, handcrafted PHP and some .htaccess rewrite rules to fire the templating without effort. For the design, Bootstrap and LESS for generating cross-device CSS3. I reworked the redesign of uni-frankfurt.de by reverse engineering an easy-to-maintain HTML/CSS structure.

The sources are published as public domain at github (goetheuni-layout). You can also browse the local LESS/template sources.
